Good Morrow fellow Bloggers, and a warm Happy Monday to all!
Yes, as you can tell, the weekend has been good to me.
My darling FINALLY got home after working away for a full week!
He arrived at about 10pm on Friday evening, and we ended up hanging out until 1am just chatting to his parents and catching up.
I mean, it HAS been a whole week, after all! :)
They spent the evening talking about their family adventures in various parts of South Africa and about Chris's guitaring history... He started playing when he was reeeaaally young :) So cute.
Anyways, Saturday was fairly awsome in a BIG way coz we had some friends over and braai'd.
It ended up with Chris and I doing what we did when we were "just friends"...
--> He took out his guitar and we sang for the masses hahahahaha... I felt at least 2 years younger :)
(See pic as reference to how "young" we were back then)
Sunday was awesome coz it was Church Day! Our Pastor played a powerful prophecy that was released over him and his wife and us, the church, by a Pastor in Durban.
It was awesome!
I cried :) and felt so proud in that moment and so deeply moved by the fact that we are part of a revival!
The whole church just erupted with Praise and we all got up and started dancing and singing and thanking God for His goodness.
We were just a bunch of kids, all dancing foolishly for our Father.
The love I felt in that room made me want to LOL

Looking back at the weekends happenings and at the people I was surrounded with...
(The "some are new, some are not" friends, The family that stuck it out through thick and thin, The bride of Christ, all praising God in one accord and loving on the church, the Pastor and each other..)
I realize that people come and go...situations change, hearts change and lives change...
But
LOVE does not.
It doesn’t because
GOD is love.
And we all know how infallible He is :)
1 John 4:16
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
And when you open yourself up to love and to loving, no matter what you do or who you become or where you are, your relationships and friendships wont be affected.
Love makes the world go round.
The
love of God makes our worlds steady and unshakable.
And the
love we show to others, makes their worlds a little bit brighter.
When we
love, we shine some Jesus into their lives.
1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
So no matter what you do today, do it with LOVE.
It will totally change the way you look at things and the way situations affect you.
Become a movement! Love can change the world!
Show love, give love, and RECEIVE love.
It’s all about the L-O-V-E.
Hey, that’s what God said... so it must be true :)
1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
God bless,
xxxL
